This book contains 20 short walks around Snowdonia from two to nearly six miles, all graded by difficulty and approximate duration. They are carefully selected to accessible for walkers of all ages, and are ideal for holidays and days out.

The mountains of Snowdonia are magnificent featuring impressive peaks and challenging ridges; however, there is much more to Snowdonia with plenty of easy, low-level walks through delightful valleys ranging from narrow and steep-sided to green and open.

The walks in this guide take in some of Snowdonia’s most famous features – castles, lakes, legends, forests, valleys and waterfalls. There is a suggested trip to the top of Snowdon using the Snowdon Mountain Railway – leaving you walker free to take the 5.5 mile downhill route back to the bottom after enjoying the mountain view.
