In this remarkably detailed map of Kythnos everything is shown with great precision and amazing clarity!

All hiking trails have been recorded by field survey and are accurately shown with point-to-point distances, so you can estimate the total length and duration of your chosen hike. On the reverse side of the map, 13 recommended hikes are presented in detail.

The island’s entire coastline has been mapped. This means that you can locate all beaches of the island, down to the tiniest cove! In fact, the special features of every single beach are shown: whether it is sandy, pebbled or has natural tree shade, whether it is organized, has a beach bar or water sports etc.

The complete road network of the island is shown, clearly graded as to width and type of surface, with user-friendly symbols and colors. Dirt roads are distinguished between good and rough ones, and distances are marked even in the smallest local road.

It features a detailed street plan of the Hora of Kythnos at 1:1,500 clearly showing all tourist facilities and sights.

It indicates the boundaries of NATURA 2000 areas so that you will know which parts of the island are of special environmental interest and beauty – thus you can enjoy traveling through them, but also take care to protect them.
